Meet The Doctor: Dr. Julie Haloua moved to State College upon her completion of optometric training. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University School of Optometry and has been a member of the American Board of Optometry for over 10 years. Through her highly sought after technical skill, she has quickly proven herself among the optometric professionals of the Centre county region. Our board certified optician takes an "old school" approach to dispensing glasses. At Spectacles we know that a great pair of glasses isn`t just a pair that looks great, but a pair that feels and fits great too. The optician will carefully adjust your glasses until all the specifications are correct, only then will the dispense be complete. Our staff is here for you, the customer! Routine Eye Exam - is a series of tests designed to evaluate your vision and check for eye diseases. Each part of this exam evaluates a different aspect of your vision.
Basic Vision Exam - three areas of eye capability are assessed: visual acuity and refraction, binocular vision (how the eyes work together), and eye health. The outcome of this exam is the best possible and individualized glasses prescription.
Comprehensive Vision Exam - also known as a contact lens fitting, is in addition to your routine eye exam. A follow-up appointment (included in price) is scheduled which helps determine how your eyes and vision are adjusting to your new contact lenses.
