Dr. Haloua graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University School of Optometry and is certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Haloua interned with a private practice in Toledo, Ohio before moving to State College to establish her own practice at Spectacles in September 2004.
Our whole family goes there, including our two children, and we've been going there for years. Dr. Haloua is very thorough and we trust her tremendously. Unfortunately, our insurance changed and we have to get our glasses elsewhere now. But, they have reasonably priced glasses if $$ is tight.
My experience was wonderful! Dr. Haloua was so kind and helpful, and the rest of the staff was just as wonderful. I love the small shop feel with plenty of personal service and a wide variety of options to choose from. I also love my new glasses!
I was a long time customer of Julie, Joseph, and the gang at Spectacles. There's nothing about them that I can't recommend.
Scheduling appointments was very easy and convenient. Additionally when I had persistent double conjunctivitis and had to see a specialist (as opposed to my primary care doctor), they got me in quickly and also followed up to make sure there was no long term damage.
There are definitely benefits to going to a local practice instead of a shopping mall or big box store eye doctor - if you don't have a vision care home, check out Spectacles!
Very professional, great advice. Love the place!
